RESPONSIBILITIES

- System study and detailed requirements analysis
- Derive Functional and non Functional requirements
- Provide Clear choice and suggest technical alternatives that synthesize a solution across a range of technologies
- Identify technical risks and work out risk mitigation strategies/approaches for the same
- Participate in project planning and resource estimation
- Propose order and content of development iterations
- Hands-on validation of a technical approach
- Create proof-of-concept applications
- Work with software developers and testers for larger/more challenging prototyping activities
- Maintaining the architectural integrity of the system through reviews, presenting architecture to various parties at different levels of abstraction and technical depth
- Assist product marketing in future product definitions, identifying what is feasible, do-able or science fiction

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Should have:

- Architected large and reliable software systems taking care of extensibility, scalability, performance, security, manageability, and licensing.

- Coded at an expert level in LAMP ( Linux, Apache, MySql, PHP) technologies
- Integrated systems with a sound architectural approach including mail and collaboration servers
