What is Opson?

Opson is a global talent referral network for individuals in select professional communities e.g. technology community. Members earn rewards or fund their favorite charities whenever somebody is hired from their network.

What is in it for me?

• You can find a full time job or a consulting gig on your terms at the best market rate at Opson.com.
• You can build your network by referring other professionals and can earn rewards or fund your favorite charities when someone in your network gets hired.

What is career networking?

Career networking involves identifying and creating professional connections to promote your career, and can be facilitated by tools like Opson.com.

How can I find a job/ consulting gig at Opson.com?

• The first step is to complete your profile on Opson.com.
• Once you complete your profile, indicate your current job search status: "Actively Looking", "Passively Looking", "Not Looking".
• If you are either actively looking or passively looking, please tell us more about the type of position you are looking for by completing the "Position Desired" form.
• Once you have completed your profile and provided a description of the job you are looking for, your profile is matched with the jobs posted by employers and you will begin receiving leads on jobs that match your profile. You are connected with the employers you are interested in; and after the interview process; you can get hired by the employer of your choice.
• For consulting jobs, once the employer selects you, Opson processes your billing for your consulting services at absolutely no cost to you; and charges the employer as per our billing policy.

Will my profile be made public (who will see my profile)?

Your profile will not be made public by Opson. You choose the employers whom you want your profile to be sent to, if you are looking for a job.

How do I refer other professionals?

You can send invitations from your homepage in the "members section" to professionals you want to refer.

How many professionals can I refer?

You can refer upto 25 professionals.

How do I track my referrals?

You will be able to track your referrals on your member homepage. As and when a professional gets hired, you will be notified.

How much money can I make by referring professionals?

Please refer to the billing policy.

If someone in my network gets hired, how do I get paid?

All your commissions will be reported on your member homepage. You can choose to draw through your paypal or money-bookers account or we can send a monthly check to your home address. Certain payment processing fees may apply.

How much does it cost to join Opson.com?

Absolutely nothing.

What are Opson's expectations from a member?

• You will truthfully complete your profile.
• You will refer only quality tech professionals.
• You will not approach any employer introduced through Opson directly.
• You cannot charge any monies from prospective members.
• Pl. read our terms of use, member's agreement and privacy policy.

Employer Questions:

How do I sign-up?

You create an account and complete your profile on the sign-up page. Our customer relationship manager will get in touch with you. After contract signing and approval, you will be able to post jobs on Opson.com.

What are the different costs involved?

How soon can I see the resumes after the job posting?

• Your job posting is matched with the active profiles posted by the candidates / consultants.
• You will start receiving leads on jobs that match your job posting.
• You are connected with the candidates / consultants you are interested in; and after the interviewing process, they can get hired by you.
• For consulting jobs, once the employee is selected by you, Opson processes the billing for their consulting services in accordance with our billing policy.
