Job Description:

A software company is looking for a Flash developer (contractor) to help with the next generation mobile applications. This person should be a fresh creative thinker who is comfortable with both the design world and the developer arena.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a primary Flash Developer for various projects

- Work with Creative agency to bring the product ideas to fruition.

- Developer must have excellent communication skills and work well with other team members

Requirements:

- Ability to look at a project holistically and develop architecture and code based on a solid development methodology

- Understands Object-Oriented Concepts and Development Techniques

- Solid Understanding of Flash Event Model

- Experienced with class-based development with AS 2.0 and 3.0

- Experience in architecting RIAs and data-driven sites

- Experiences with ground-up builds of Flash interfaces

- Knowledge of other development frameworks and APIs for AS 2.0/3.0

- Experience with Flash-Related Technologies

- Experience with Flash Lite 2.1 is a huge plus

- Proficiency in all areas of Flash development including: Advanced Actionscript, XML, Flash Video, Audio and native API Integration

- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Javascript

- Proficiency with graphics applications including Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

- Experience with Flash game development, including a technical degree in either math or computer science or equivalent is a huge plus.

Job Type: Contract (6months)
