Job Description:

A mobile software company is looking for a Flash developer to join their team.

Required Qualifications:

• MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related academic discipline

• 5+ years of hands-on software industry experience in the design and development of consumer, web-based or mobile applications, with the main focus in User Interface • 4+ years of demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ with a strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming

• Complex programming in Flash is highly desirable

• Passionate about developing compelling UI applications paying emphasis on usability

• Take on challenging roles to learn new technologies such as Flash

• Take the product from design to completion

• Demonstrated proficiency in programming of multi-threaded, client/server applications using TCP/IP based network programming APIs

• Strong software development experience on Windows or UNIX platforms and related development environments (IDEs)

• Hands-on programming experience on embedded or one or more mobile application platforms similar to Palm OS, Windows Mobile 5, BREW, or Symbian OS. Win 32 or Complex Web based programming experience is also considered.

• Proven track record of being involved with software product development from conception to commercial deployment

• Familiarity with Wireless and standard Internet technologies, protocols and standards like SOAP, XML and latest UI technologies like RIA.

• Multimedia (rendering, processing) is a strong Plus

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working on web browser or a multimedia rendering technology.

• Experience in the design and development of Graphical User Interface (GUI) components and controls, and familiarity with UI frameworks and technologies like, MFC, WTL, AWT/Swing, SWT, etc • Usage of (wireless) telephony or messaging libraries, toolkits or SDKs in the development of applications
