Senior Build and Release Engineer



Job Description:



· Lead and implement release automation and deployment automation efforts

· Develop automated build and deployment scripts. Setup build automation environment

· Setup and Automate on demand build processes

· Work on improvement of the build processes

· Create and Maintain software build and deployment scripts

· Manage software deployments in the QA, pre-production and production environment

· Work with QA and Development to Setup automated deployment validation across all products



Requirements:

-Minimum of 7 years of industry experience that includes 4+ years as Build and Release engineer
-At least 2-3 year of Release Automation experience
-Knowledge of Ant
-Experience with J2EE and Jboss Application server
-Ability to analyze and resolve build and deployment errors in Java.
-Knowledge of tools and technologies used in Continuous Integration
-Experience in working with globally distributed teams
-Demonstrated quick learner and self starter, and has the drive to get things done
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-A BSCS or BSEE is required. MS preferred
