Responsibilities:

* Design and develop test platforms and automation.
* Develop test plans and test equipment and processes.
* Develop and run system and functional tests.
* Develop and run performance and load testing.
* Analyze defects and root causes.
* Perform acceptance testing of licensed and open source components.
Coordinate processes and deliverables from outsourced testing teams.



Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience in driving testing for large complex content-driven systems.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
* Knowledge of distributed systems and Internet technologies required.
* Strong networking and security expertise.
* Experience designing and developing test platforms and tests for large scale content-driven applications and services.
* Experience with testing systems in service provider and hosted environments.
* C/C++ development experience.
* Experience with test and quality engineering tools (Bugzilla, jUnit, Purify and similar development tools) and processes.
* Experience testing open source components.
* Experience testing in a Linux environment.
* Test automation and scripting experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
